ADV FEST History

ADV FEST History

In 2012 the then founder (Kurt Quambusch) of Australia's first Adventure Riders magazine wanted to start an ADV community event outside of a major city, in an area that riders want to ride to, that was achieved, He contacted the Armidale Adventure Riders who introduced Kurt to a place by the name of Moredon Ponds in the Central West of NSW, In the pic is the original photo taken at Moredon Ponds.

Later the event moved to a place called Tingha (GVF). Dorrigo is the new location the for the event and the surrounding areas offer an Adventure Riding Haven.

A special thanks to Tony Bennett - Armidale Adventure Riders Group.

ADV FEST Now

Dorrigo the new Venue for our event, we are excited about Dorrigo as what is on offer in ways of riding, scenery and just getting there, its up in clouds literally and the clouds sometime are around but they move on, its really something that needs to be seen to believed. Also with this new format and venue we are inviting Industry Manufacturers and suppliers to exhibit at the venue. On top of that Ben 'Grabbo' Grabham is named as the ADV Skills coach at the event.
